The Story of the SwordRealmTM

Once upon a time the time came when people began to forget who they were and where they came from.  Darkness began to creep into their lives as they began to become swayed away from the light and towards the darkness. They let the light slip away from them. 

As the light faded their eyes adjusted to the gray dimness and they started to forget about the light they had come from.  Time passed as they wandered in the dimness, and many were able to slowly move further into the darkness. 

Walking in the darkness, it became harder and harder to see, so they had to spend more and more of their time trying to find the happiness they used to have.  Some even completely forgot about the light.  As they tried harder to search in the darkness for happiness, they moved further and further away from the light.

Life in the darkness was very hard.  There didn’t seem to be a lot of happiness there, and the happiness that was there never seemed to last long enough.  Everyone was so worried about getting enough happiness for themselves, that they started to forget about how to love each other, and the darkness kept getting darker.  It was out of this darkness that the SkyRidersTM were born.

SkyRidersTM seek a way out of darkness and back into the light.  Light makes SkyRidersTM grow stronger, which makes it harder for them to be swayed by the darkness.  SkyRidersTM help bring light back into a world that has wandered away from it.  To do this, SkyRidersTM study to become a master of swordingTM – because swordingTM holds the secret of a SkyRider’sTM power. 

The SkyRiders’TM secret is that they use swords for something that swords had never before been used for: they use them to gather light.  For SkyRidersTM, the sword is a symbol for action.  SkyRidersTM use their actions to build values.  Values attract light and make the life of a SkyRiderTM shine.  SkyRidersTM call this Secret of the SwordTM the SwordWayTM.

Surrounded by the shining light of their values, SkyRidersTM strive to use the sword of their actions to bring light to everyone in the dimness and in the darkness.  Sometimes SkyRidersTM get touched by the darkness and get swayed away from the light. 

When this happens they lose their SkyRidingTM ability and become either a  DimWandererTM or a DarkWalkerTM.  Then, other SkyRidersTM must use their swords to bring them back into the light - without getting swayed by the darkness themselves.

The world of dimness and darkness is where the SkyRidersTM use the power of their swords.  This is why they call this world the SwordRealmTM.  All SkyRidersTM start as LearnersTM.  To really enter the SwordRealmTM a LearnerTM must learn and become dedicated to the Secret of the SwordTM.  

Only when a LearnerTM can demonstrate that he or she knows how to use the Secret of the SwordTM to build values is a SwordNameTM bestowed.  Once a SwordNameTM is earned, a LearnerTM officially becomes a SkyRiderTM and can have power in the SwordRealmTM.   Then the SwordRealmTM is truly entered and the game of life begins.   Perhaps unfortunately, SkyRidersTM don’t really exist and the SwordRealmTM is just pretend - right?
